Best Ghost Photos Ever Taken

If seeing is believing, then these photos will convince you about ghosts

From Stephen Wagner,
Your Guide to
Paranormal Phenomena.

They say seeing is believing. And while in this day of digital image manipulation that might not be as true as it once was, these photographs are considered by many to be the real deal - photographic evidence of ghosts. Faking ghost photos through double exposure and in-the-lab trickery has been around as long as photography itself; and today, computer graphics programs can easily and convincingly create ghost images. But these photos are generally thought to be untouched, genuine portraits of the unexplained. Follow this link: http://paranormal.about.com/od/ghostphotos/ig/Best-Ghost-Photos/

You Know You are Getting Old When…………

Old ManYou really know you are getting old when you are driving down the highway and you start reflecting on the past and the things you remember seeing. More specifically you start remembering the “First of their Kind” things. I mean things that were not around and then all of a sudden we can’t remember not having been around. For example Velcro. Could we live without Velcro? Believe it or not, there was a point in our earlier history when Velcro was not around. Doesn’t it make you feel r-e-a-l-l-y old. It does me. Here are some things I have been thinking about recently:Calculators - I had one of the first in college. It would only do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and it cost nearly $100 a month to rent so I could finish my Finance class.Color TV - Believe it or not there was a point when TV was not in color. Now we are up to High Definition 1080p sets that you can hang on the wall.iTunes and MP3 - I started my life with a stereo turntable set that would play both 45 and 33s. I have spent a lifetime collecting LPs and now I am spending a lifetime converting those LPs to MP3.CDs - I remember when the first CD players came out and that the first music on CDs was classical music. Thinking on this yesterday I realized that I was leaving my assignment from the Air Force in 1986 when I bought my first CD at the Base Exchange. Then I realized that was nearly 22 years ago.Man, I know I am r-e-a-l-l-y getting old!

I Love Airplanes!

Do you love airplanes? I certainly do. I have spent the last 32 years playing with what I love. I was very fortunate during my military career to have the opportunity to fly lots of airplanes. I started my career back in 1975 flying the T-37 (Tweet) and T-38 (Talon). Both aircraft are primary trainers and as of this year - the T-38 is the only one still around. I then had the opportunity to learn how to fly the F-4 (Phantom II.)  I was able to fly the F-4 D and E models. Next came F-15s (Eagle) and T-38s as an Undergraduate Pilot Instructor. I went to Europe to fly the Eagle again as I finished my active duty Air Force career. In 1986 I entered the Air National Guard and in 1989 the Air Force Reserves which allowed me to get another 10 years of flying jets.  My stint in the Air National Guard allowed me to fly the A-7 (Sluff). Moving into the Air Force Reserves allowed me to fly the F-16 (Falcon or Viper depending on your preference - all F-16 drivers prefer Vipers) and the KC-135 (Strato Tanker) and then the E-3. As you can see I have flown a lot of jets.  Should you want to discuss any of the aircraft let me know. I love talking about them and the missions I performed in each.

The World According to Farb - A Statement

What is the World According to Farb?  Well, I am a Fighter Pilot who has spent 32 years flying jets for the USAF.  My “Tactical Call-sign” is “Farb”.  In other words, I was and always will be, remembered as “Farb” versus my real name.  I have a very specific views on lots of various subjects.  Thus what you get is Farb’s opinion on certain Worldly subjects. As you will find out in my blogs I consider myself a journalist.  A journalist on the subject of life.  In other words, I am an “Opinion Journalist”.
